The annual increase in charcoal consumption is due to the global trend to reduce CO2 emissions into the Earth's atmosphere. In the priorities of consumers, the environmental component is becoming an increasingly important factor when choosing an energy source, both for personal needs and for complex production processes.

TDV "Perechyn Forest Chemical Plant" is the largest Ukrainian and leading European producer of wood-coal products with more than a hundred years of production history. Environmental friendliness, impeccable reputation, innovation and continuous improvement are the main operating principle and mission of the company.

In Europe, they have already appreciated the quality of wood and coal products, the ability of Ukrainian businessmen to maintain European production standards and the readiness to develop by introducing new technologies.

The plant's clients are Europe's largest factories for the production of activated carbon Cabot Norit Nederland B.V., AdFiS products GmbH, world leaders in silicon production RW Silicium GmbH, metal producers Wieland-Werke AG, Montanwerke Brixlegg AG.

The products of the Perechyn plant are permanent products on the shelves of famous European retailers: LIDL, Kaufland, Carrefour, EDEKA, TESCO. And the certification of the plant can be envied by any industrial enterprise of Ukraine: the plant works according to BSCI, PEFC, ISO standards.

Production in two vertical retorts is fully automated and controlled:

All organic substances produced as a result of pyrolysis do not enter the atmosphere, but are burned in the boiler of the utilization, thereby generating steam, which is subsequently used as a source of energy for the production of briquettes, ethyl acetate and other internal needs of the plant.
The raw material has a legal origin: it was obtained through official purchases of waste from state forestry farms.
The content of volatiles, ash, humidity is constantly controlled, and most importantly, the process makes it possible to reach the content of non-volatile carbon up to 93%
The plant operates according to ISO 9001:2015 standards, which ensures flawless management of the quality system. BSCI guarantees compliance with the highest social standards. And most importantly, the company is proud to be the first in Ukraine to receive the PEFC certificate - European recognition of sustainable forest management.

In Ukraine, the plant's products are sold under the "GRILLY" TM, which confidently occupies the premium segment and is the choice of consumers focused on eco-friendly products. Its use is a sign of a conscious attitude towards oneself, one's surroundings and the environment. After all, quality coal is not a matter of price, it is a matter of health and personal safety.

In 2020, the company sets high goals. In the future - products of deep processing of wood (production of activated carbon), directions of pyrolysis liquid and igniters, cooperation with metal producers.

The amount of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere during metalworking with the use of coke provokes a deepening of the ecological disaster: it is not for nothing that the UN has declared an extreme level of danger in the world precisely on this occasion. Therefore, conscious metal producers, and among them mainly world leaders, turn to the plant with inquiries regarding the supply of charcoal as a substitute for coke.

The use of coal produced in an ecological way ensures the preservation of health and ecology on a global scale.

Therefore, the plant actively promotes its work methods and daily provides large volumes of supplies of raw materials for household needs and for industry in both Ukraine and Europe.

TDV "Perechyn Forestry and Chemical Plant" confidently occupies a place among the leaders of European ecological production of charcoal. By the end of 2019, monthly production amounts to 4,000 tons of charcoal. The raw material is 100% solid wood from the Ukrainian forest.

Experience of more than 100 years in the industrial production of charcoal and briquettes, absence of harmful emissions into the atmosphere and wastewater, diversification of energy resources, careful control of product quality at all stages of production, transparency of the supply chain of raw materials and social responsibility - all these advantages open new perspectives for the development of the plant in modern conditions, and provide confidence in the future.
